On June 11, 2024, Keidanren USA hosted a roundtable discussion with experts from White & Case LLP on “Semiconductors and U.S. Trade Policy”.

They provided an overview of U.S. trade policy measures impacting the semiconductor industry and related industries, including export controls, investment restrictions, and import restrictions such as Section 301 tariffs.
They also explained recent examples of these measures and discussed their expectations for future trade policies.
