On February 19, Keidanren USA hosted Professor Jun Arima of the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy, and Executive Senior Fellow at the 21^st Century Public Policy Institute.  Professor Arima gave a detailed explanation of the results of the COP21 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris and Japan’s planned measures to meet its goals.  He drew on his experiences having participated in 11 past COPs to share insights into the process.  Keidanren member companies engaged with Professor Arima on such issues as the U.S. role in the process as well as future reevaluation of the goals.
