On March 31, Keidanren USA hosted a roundtable discussion with Director Joe Young of the Office of Japanese Affairs in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs.  Director Young discussed priorities and prospects for the U.S.-Japan relationship from the State Department’s perspective.  Other topics raised by member companies included the Department’s outreach efforts on TPP, the security argument for TPP, and nuclear energy issues.
