On March 29, Keidanren USA hosted Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat, Senior Counsel at Covington & Burling, and Ambassador Alan Larson, Senior International Policy Advisor at Covington & Burling.  Drawing on their extensive experience at the State Department and Commerce Department, they discussed U.S. sanctions policy for such countries as Iran, Russia, Burma and Cuba, and U.S. inward foreign investment policies and CFIUS issues.  The discussion with member companies included topics such as the slow pace of reinvestment into Iran, Chinese investment in the U.S., and prospects for TPP.
